1> Maximum Working Pressure for Rubber O-Rings and Star Seals—Clearance Values Table/Groove Dimensions 1. Gaps and Extrusion: Fluid pressure can cause the O-ring to extrude from the groove and become damaged. Extrusion is determined by the fluid pressure, the gap width b, and the hardness of the rubber. 2. Measures to prevent extrusion: When pressure or clearance exceeds the allowable limits, use a PTFE retaining ring. With pressure applied on both sides, install the ring on either side of the O-ring; when pressure is applied from one side, install it on the opposite side.

4. X-Ring Advantages: 1. Double sealing with grooves that retain lubricant; 2. No twisting during reciprocating motion; 3. Longer service life under rotary motion. Rotary seal installation requirements: The inner diameter of the star-shaped ring shall be 2% to 5% larger than the diameter of the sealing shaft.
