Precautions for Installing Stainless Steel Ferrule Fittings
Ferrule-type pipe fittings are suitable for applications where the service medium—such as oil, water, or gas—does not exhibit corrosive or erosive properties. They offer excellent sealing performance and, when used with aluminum‑plastic tubing, provide exceptional flexibility after connection, delivering secure, reliable joints and superior leak‑tightness.

Precautions for Hydraulic Fluid Components
When crimping hose fittings, excessive crimp dimensions can cause the inner rubber layer and the braided steel wire to rupture, leading to oil leakage. Conversely, insufficient crimp dimensions may result in leaks under high operating pressures; moreover, excessively high pressure could cause the fitting to detach entirely, potentially injuring personnel if struck.

Analysis of Potential Issues During the Installation of Ferrule-Type Fittings
1. Cut a seamless steel pipe to the appropriate length and remove any burrs from the ends. The pipe ends must be perpendicular to the axis, with an angular tolerance of no more than 0.5°. If the pipe needs to be bent, the straight‑section length from the pipe end to the bend shall be at least three times the nut length.
What is a valve?
Valves are control components in fluid‑transport systems, performing functions such as shut‑off, regulation, flow diversion, prevention of backflow, pressure stabilization,分流 (diversion), or overflow and pressure relief.
Applications of Various Types of Valves
For shut-off service: to isolate the medium in a pipeline. Examples include gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, plug valves, and butterfly valves. b) For check service: to prevent backflow of the medium. Example: check valve.
What is the primary function of a valve?
Valves are pipeline fittings used to open and close pipelines, control flow direction, and regulate and manage the parameters of the conveyed medium—such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate. Based on their functions, they can be classified into shut-off valves, check valves, control valves, and others.
What is a hose?
Hoses are essential components in modern industry. They are primarily used as protective conduits for wires, cables, and automated instrumentation signals, as well as for residential shower hoses, with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 150 mm. Small-diameter hoses (inner diameter 3 mm–25 mm) are mainly employed to protect the sensing circuits of precision optical scales and industrial sensor wiring.
Advantages and Functions of Hoses
In complex piping systems, spatial constraints often give rise to numerous installation challenges: pre‑formed pipes may fail to fit; and even when pipes are awkwardly bent or repositioned to achieve a temporary fit, localized cold‑working corrections are unavoidable. Depending on the pipe diameter and site conditions, these cold‑working corrections can range from a few millimeters to several tens of millimeters, with some cases reaching hundreds of millimeters. Experience has shown that the greater the magnitude of such corrections, the higher the residual internal stresses. These installation‑induced stresses, left unresolved in the piping system, undoubtedly pose significant hidden risks.
