　　Key points for installing ferrule-type pipe fittings:

　　1. Pipes that require cleaning with an acidic solution should first be cleaned using an acidic solution.

　　2. Cut the tubing to the required length using a sawing machine or specialized pipe‑cutting equipment; under no circumstances shall fusion cutting or abrasive‑wheel cutting be used. Remove burrs, metal debris, and contaminants from both the interior and exterior of the tube ends. Also remove any anti‑corrosion agents and residues from ferrule‑type pipe fittings, and ensure that the tubing maintains its roundness.

　　3. Slip the nut and ferrule onto the tube, one after the other. The cutting edge at the front end of the ferrule should be at least 3 mm from the tube’s end. Then insert the tubing into the tapered bore inside the fitting until it can no longer be pushed in.

　　4. Slowly tighten the ferrule nut while rotating the tube until the tube no longer moves, then further tighten the nut by approximately 2/3 to 4/3 of a turn.

　　5. Disassemble and inspect whether the ferrule has entered the tube and whether its position is correct. The ferrule must not shift along the axis; it may be slightly rotated.

　　6. After verifying compliance, re-tighten the nut by turning it.

　　Key considerations for installing high-pressure ferrule-type fittings:

　　1. During transfer or when stationary, the hose must not be excessively bent, nor should it be bent at the base; bending should begin at a point no closer than 1.5 times its diameter.

　　2. When the hose is moved to either end, it should not be pulled too tightly; it should remain relatively loose.

　　3. Prevent the hose from twisting, rotating, or deforming as much as possible.

　　It should be noted that, during installation, ferrule-type fittings must be kept well away from components that generate thermal radiation; where necessary, a thermal isolation plate should be installed.
