I>Pre-install Coupling
Uses：It is intended for pre-installing a ferrule on a steel tube, so that the ferrule more reliably bites into the steel tube and the final installation reliability is enhanced. The pre-install coupling is a quite convenient accessory for the installation of bite type fittings in restricted spaces.
How to Use
1. Check the dimensions of VOST pre-install coupling.
2. Fix the pre-install coupling on a bench vice.
3. Lubricate the nut and ferrule and mount them on the steel tube in turn.
4. Insert the tube with nut and ferrule into the pre-install coupling, and press the tube against the pre-install coupling.
5. Tighten and pre-install the ferrule according to the bite type fitting installation guide.
6. Release and remove the ferrule pre-installed steel tube.
Note: If worn or deformed inner cone of the pre-install coupling causes scraps in assembly, check the dimensions every 50 ferrules based on the values of d and D in the table.
The pre-install coupling is used for high pressure bite type fittings, 24° inner cone.
